Musky Mania 35, June
We had warm weather and good fishing at Musky Mania 35 this past weekend. The 37 participants caught a total of 18 muskies, plus several northern pike and bass.
Bruce Siebers took first place with a 44" muskellunge he boated at 8:35 on Saturday morning. Mark Melius was in first place for 11 minutes on Saturday morning with a 43", until Bruce Siebers caught his 44", putting Mark in second place. Jim Jessup captured third place on Saturday afternoon, with a 42". As the winner of MM35, Bruce Siebers will be coordinating MM36. The current thinking is that MM36 will be held at North Twin Lodge again, sometime in the first half of October. We need to get an early read on how many attendees we will have for MM36, so we can work with the new owners on reserving cabins for us. More info regarding timing and lodging will be forthcoming shortly. |
